One of the most adored couples of Bollywood, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh graced the ongoing dance reality show, Super Dancer Chapter 4 on their Shaadi special episode. The duo recalled their wedding, and the actress revealed some fun facts about it. The actress in the video clip posted by Sony Television on the social media account, revealed her husband Riteish touched her feet eight times at their wedding. This revelation got an epic reply from the actor.
Genelia was heard saying, “We may have modernised our weddings and turned them into another party, but I adore traditional weddings and consider myself fortunate to have got one. Every ceremony was a blast for me, and I was very emotional during my Bidaai as well, but we all had a great time.” “Of course, Ritesh had to touch my feet, eight times.”
Smirking as she revealed this, Genelia also did a little victory dance, with Riteish funnily stating the priest was getting him prepared for the rest of his life. “I think the priest knew what I am supposed to do after the wedding. He made me practise it before,” he said.
The couple had two wedding ceremonies -- one Christian and second, Maharashtrian.
Riteish and Genelia met on the sets of the former's debut Hindi film Tujhe Meri Kasam, and successfully kept their affair under wraps till they tied the knot in 2012. The two were possibly filling up for actress Shilpa Shetty who is one of the judges on the show.
